MUSIC: Bring your kid, or borrow one, to the last Kidrockers show of the season. This Sunday's lineup features Los Campesinos! and Pela; "its a mash up of UK punksters and working class Americans." The afternoon is hosted by Seth Herzog and Craig Baldo, and the recommended age group is 3 to 13. Bonus: free Fizzy Lizzy for all kidrockers at the show and a free Time Out Kids subscription with ticket purchase. Pencil This In, gothamist, May 16, 2008

MUSIC: Calling all indie kids (and their parents), this Sunday Ra Ra Riot and Levy take the intimate stage at the Living Room for the Kidrockers show. "These all ages shows are designed to bring families together to enjoy new music. Artists perform original (not specifically made for children) songs in a manner that is both authentic and kid-friendly." Fizzy Lizzy will even be handing out free fruity spritzers at the event. What's going on Sunday? (kidrockers/Ra Ra Riot/Samamidon)

Pitchfork

To raise the next generation of Hold Steady fans, we guess. On Sunday, February 10 at the Living Room in New york City, Tad (and "friends"), along with Langhorne Slim and the War Eagles will peform a 1 p.m. set as part of the KiDROCKERS series. These KiDROCKERS gigs contain a special provision, however: every adult must be accompanied by a kid, and vice versa.  Pitchfork, Feb 2008

Tad Kubler, guitarist from The Hold Steady gives a shout out to Kidrockers during an interivew with Jambase

"I think it's kind of important to keep things kid friendly because we are at the age where we're having kids.  There's this thing in New York called KIDROCKERS.  This couple has set it up and they get all kinds of bands to come in.  Once a month they pick a venue and come in and do a stripped down acoustic version.  So, the parents can go have brunch and Bloody Marys and the kids can hang out and have the experience with live music, too."
